Utilizing the cutting edge technologies like DIgital Twin & AI, we developed a gamified reality Digital Twin platform. This state-of-the-art solution involved creating digital counterparts of physical school buildings to enable real-time monitoring, analysis, and control of heating systems. By harnessing AI and IoT, we transformed heating systems into smart, self-optimizing entities that adapt to both environmental conditions and user behavior. This platform with its multiplayer feature also facilitates real-time collaboration between all stakeholders, faster and improved decision making.

Banking the Unbanked: A Decade of Financial Inclusion

Challenge

Despite India's growing economy, over a decade ago, millions in rural areas lacked access to basic banking services. Financial literacy was minimal, and the concept of women in banking was not widespread, leaving a vast segment of the population financially disenfranchised.  

Solution

Leading a multifaceted initiative during my tenure with HCL Infosystems Limited, Sahaj Retail Limited, and the Manipal Group to deploy banking kiosk centers, 'Bank Mitras,' as part of the 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.' We tailored our approach to each community, ensuring the kiosks served as both financial access points and education centers. We placed special emphasis on empowering women, training them to operate these kiosks and become community financial leaders.  

Innovation

• Pioneered the introduction of Aadhar-based payment transactions in India, setting a precedent for secure, biometrically authenticated transactions.
• Developed a scalable model for financial literacy programs, aligning them with government and NGO efforts to maximize reach and effectiveness.

Impact

• Established over 10,000 'Bank Mitras' Banking centres, achieving extensive coverage across India's vast rural landscape.
• Enabled financial empowerment by opening 2 million+ bank accounts, thereby facilitating inclusion into the economic mainstream.
• Processed transactions amounting to billions of Rupees, reflecting the trust and utility of the established banking infrastructure.
• Significantly contributed to the national objective of financial literacy, especially among women, leading to enhanced economic participation and independence.
